Curry Barker’s surprise $400M global grossing romance horror Obsession has set a streaming date on Peacock of July 17. That’s a 63-day theatrical window to streaming.

Obsession opened to $17.1M stateside on mid-May and legged out to an unprecedented 14.6x multiple to a current $249.5M domestic off a rare A- for a horror movie. Co-produced by Blumhouse and financed originally by Capstone for $750K. The movie remains in the top 5 making $9.4M in its eighth week.
YouTube made filmmaker, Barker, has his next movie, Anything But Ghosts, with Focus Features and Blumhouse. He also has a third secret project in the work with Blumhouse in addition to re-launching Texas Chainsaw Massacre with A24.
